Juventus could be set to offer Alexis Sanchez a way out of Manchester United - but only if he accepts a pay cut.
The Italian giants like the idea of Sanchez linking up with Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin but are being put off by the £500,000-a-week wages the Chilean is on at Old Trafford.
They have already agreed to pay his former Arsenal team-mate Aaron Ramsey £400,000 a week when he joins in the summer but, according to CalcioMercato, will not be matching Sanchez's current pay.
Sanchez has struggled since swapping the Emirates Stadium for Manchester 14 months ago with injuries often hampering his progress and preventing him from getting a run in the team. He is on a five-year deal.
He has scored just two goals this season, one in the league and one in the FA Cup, the most recent in a win at Arsenal at the end of January.
Meanwhile, United must finish in the top four to have any chance of signing Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
Greece international Manolos will look to leave Roma is they miss out on Champions League qualification and only a club making it to Europe's top table would interest him.
The 27-year-old has a £30m release clause in his contract and is one of several defenders being linked with United alongside Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly, Leicester and England centre-half Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld at Tottenham.
