Juventus are interested in signing Nemanja Matic from Manchester United next summer after missing out on his team-mate Paul Pogba.
Matic's contract expires at the end of the season, although United have an option to extend his deal by a further year.
As reported by The Sun, Matic has been left frustrated by his lack of playing time in the early stages of the season.
The 31-year-old started United's 1-0 victory over Leicester on Saturday, but was named as a substitute for the club's other four Premier League games this campaign.
Juventus were heavily linked with a deal to resign Pogba in the summer, but the move failed to materialise.
The Serie A side signed two high-profile midfielders- Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot - on free transfers in the summer and could look to do likewise with Matic next year.
Since joining United from Chelsea in 2017, Matic has made 88 appearances for the club, but hasn't won any trophies.
