Ghana and Crystal Palace forward, Jordsan Ayew, still believes the Black Stars have an opportunity to prove their worth.

Ayew, who was on the score sheet for the Black Star against the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday, believes that fighting spirit they put up against Benin, will be replicated when they take on Cameroun on Saturday.

”We deserved to win after the red card. But it’s all part of the game.

"Most important thing is I have to congratulate the guys because we played 10 against 11. We managed to get a draw and we have two more games, we need to work hard.

"I have total confidence in the boys and we showed a good fighting spirit. So it’s positive for the next game,” the forward said.

Ayew, who won the Total Man of the Match award after the group stage game, believes the game against Cameroon will be a difficult one but the Stars will still come out victorious.

”All the games are difficult, but Cameroon is a difficult team, we are Ghana too and we are going to do our possible best. After all, the winner takes all,” he stated.
