Black Stars trainer, Kwesi Appiah, has left out skipper, Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and brother, Jordan Ayew from his 21-man team to play against Kenya in an upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on September 8.
Coach Appiah who named a new look team without the trio will be looking forward to beating their Kenyan counterparts in their encounter.
Gyan and the Ayew brothers have been out of the Stars team since playing for the team in a 1-1 draw with Congo during a FIFA World Cup qualifier in 2017.
However, coach Appiah had stated that he was looking forward to giving other Ghanaian players the chance to prove themselves in the senior national team and could be the reason for their omission.
Gyan will remain in Turkey with Kayserispor likewise Andre Ayew who recently joined Fernabache on a season long loan deal.
Jordan Ayew will be hoping to concentrate on playing for Crystal Palace having been dropped from the international fixture with Kenya.
