Under siege: Supporters of Ebusua Dwarfs invaded the pitch and attacked the match officials on Saturday

Ebusua Dwarfs will play their GFA Normalisation Committee’s Special Competition Match Day 12 clash against Dreams FC at the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman on Wednesday afternoon.

The change in venue comes after the GFA Normalisation Committee placed a temporary ban on Dwarfs from using the Cape Coast Stadium as their home grounds following high level of unsporting behaviour exhibited by their supporters during halftime and at the end of the match with Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Hearts won the match 2-1

According to reports, supporters of Dwarfs invaded the field of play and prevented the match officials from entering the dressing room at halftime.

At the end of the match, the home supporters held the match officials hostage for about 35 minutes in the dressing rooms in clear violation of the GFA Regulations.

Meanwhile, Dwarfs have been charged by the GFA Prosecutor and is expected to submit a written statement of defence or appear before the FA's Disciplinary Committee on Thursday. May 16 at 2:00pm.
