Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Medeama Sporting Club have finally been given the greenlight to represent the nation in the next CAF club competitions.
This follows the Normalisation Committee’s review of petitions filed by Kotoko and Medeama this week in respect of their readiness to participate in the CAF clubs competitions.
Ghana had until Monday, October 29, to submit its participants for the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup to the Confederation of African Football (CAF). This was after the NC had requested for a two-week extension to the October 15 deadline due to the current crisis in Ghana Football.
The NC’s latest decision came as a big relief to the Kotoko family which found itself in a state in anxiety after the club submitted its petition to go to Africa to the NC last Monday.
