Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey, has been rated among the least paid players in the English Premier League this season based on the total minutes played for his club.

This is based on a research conducted by effective the beginning of the season to February 11.

The study took into consideration a players’ weekly wage out of which it deducted the weeks the players had been injured. His total earnings is then divided by the total minutes played in the season.

“The study has deducted weekly wages from players for the weeks they have been out injured, then divided their collective earnings during the course of the campaign and divided it by the minutes they have played in the Premier League this season” the study stated.

After the calculation, Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey, who earns £21,000 a week was said to have earned £360 per minute from 641 minutes he played in the Premier League before his injury.

Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater is considered one of the most paid players not to have featured in the Premier League.
