Akonnor names squad to face Nkana FC

Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Charles K. Akonnor, has named an 18-man squad for their CAF Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC in Zambia on Sunday.

Richard Senanu who picked an injury during their game against ZESCO United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday was left out of the squad.

Instead, new recruit, Habib Mohammed, made the list for his first trip with the Porcupine Warriors.

Jordan Opoku also returned to the team after he was dropped from their trip to Sudan while Daniel Nii Adjei continue to be out of Coach C. K Akonnor's plans

Asante Kotoko are looking forward to recording their second win in the group after their 2-1 victory over ZESCO United at home on Wednesday February 13.

Nkana FC are also seeking to for a good score line at home after beating Al Hilal 2-1 in their last home game.

The four clubs are tied on three points each making it an open group with a winner on Sunday taking huge leap to the top.
