Simon Copley, Arsenal’s U-14 coach, has been added to the Black Stars technical team for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Copley is set to play a physical trainer role for the Stars team before and during the tournament in June.
A UEFA Licence A holder, Copley is expected to team up with the Stars technical team ahead of their pre-tournament camping in Dubai.
Having joined Arsenal in 2015, Copley worked with fellow Premier League side West Ham United prior to his move to the London rivals.
He had previously coached his hometown club Dartford FC and his rich experience could help keep the team in shape for the tournament.
Ghana will face defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau in Group F.
