Former Black Stars striker, Dominic Adiyiah, has joined Thai second-tier side, Sisaket FC, on a free transfer after months of inactivity.

Adiyiah, 29, who excelled and won the Best Player award at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, signed for his new side a year after leaving Thai top-flight side, Nakhon Ratchasima, where he spent three seasons.

The Ghanaian international who was tipped for greatness after joining AC Milan will be looking forward to making a significant impact with his new club who will be relying on rich experience.

Having played in European countries such as Italy, Serbia, Ukraine, Turkey and Norway, Adiyiah faces a strong test to turn things around for Sisakat FC who finished 10th in their league campaign.

Adiyiah played a bit-part role at the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals where Ghana got eliminated at the quarter-final stage via a penalty shoot-out to Uruguay.
