Egypt coach, Javier Aguirre, remains the highest paid coach in Africa with reports suggesting he earns US$ 122, 000 on monthly basis.
Aguirre, a Mexican trainer, is currently leading the Pharoahs of Egypt at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) as the North Africans chase their eighth continental title.
In a release by pan-African weekly news magazine, Jeune Afrique, Aguirre, who took over the reins of the Pharaohs after their poor showing at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, leads the top five highest paid list of trainers at the AFCON.
According to Jeune Afrique, Cameroun’s coach, Clarence Seedorf, places second for walking home with a monthly US$ 108,000.
Top rated French coach, Hervé Renard, who currently trains Morocco is on US$ 90,000 monthly salary while South Africa’s Stuart Baxter pocket US$ 70,000 on monthly basis as well.
