We are better Ghanaians than we display

WE ARE A FAR BETTER NATION AND PEOPLE THAN THIS, GHANA....SO WHY HAVE WE SET OUR HOUSES, FAMILIES, CHILDREN, RELATIONS, FRIENDS, PEOPLE, ANIMALS, 'GODS', RELIGIONS AGAINST EACH OTHER IN PUBLIC .....

....ever wondered why all the rituals our mothers seem to observe, go through, checking...inspecting...to be assured of the quality of each food item before committing to cooking the families' favourite meals at Christmases or special occasions or days....paying more than particular attention to the RECIPES , UNITS OR PORTIONS OF EACH INGREDIENT, THE CLEANSING PROCESSES...paying rapt attention to taste to make sure none of the KEY ingredients, especially THOSE TO TASTE like pepper, onion, salt, tomatoes, seasonings are of the appropriate quantity or taste...as they determine the final composition and taste of the great family meal...that no portion should over-influence or under-cut the FINAL UNIQUE TASTE of the family meal....

....that is how we have been put together as a NATION AND PEOPLE....each to his or her taste and portions for the overall general good....so why all the INSULTS , BICKERINGS , THREATS OF MAYHEM AND WAR , CURSES , PEDDLING LIES AGAINST EACH OTHER as if tomorrow never dies..or there is NO TOMORROW ...why all these false public bravado in playing to the gallery so that women spectators will clap for us that we are MACHO....we are worth far more than how our politicians have portrayed us over last 60 years plus and counting...

....worst, we aren't mindful of the REAL IMPACT AND DAMAGES we have done to or visiting on the psyche of our children, who constitute the FUTURE OF OUR GREAT NATION ...teaching them that SELF-RESPECT doesn't matter...that it is okay to LIE AGAINST , MALIGN , DESTROY , UNDERMINE , INSULT , STEAL FROM , CRUCIFY OTHERS ....all in the name or strive to gain positions of trust, influence, riches...and to appropriate, falsely what belongs to others or another....this LAW OF THE JUNGLE isn't us as GHANAIANS...to love foreigners more than our own....

....is this what we have been teaching our children, the FUTURE OF GHANA...that EDUCATION doesn't matter anymore...quest for MERIT in all spheres of our national lives, doesn't matter anymore...going back to TRIBALISM OR CLANSHIP....that lying or stealing to land another in jail doesn't matter anymore....where did we go wrong...is it the PARTY POLITICS .....we deserve far better than this or we don't deserve this at all...it's only a RECIPE FOR A FAILED STATE AND NATION ...

...I don't know whether it's because I see the kind of future we are building for our descendants....call me a wizard or alarmist or for my age but honestly and truth be told....I truly and sincerely cry for Ghana, my motherland.....unfortunately all those causing the harm now, won't be there in that future, when they could be put before the PEOPLE'S COURT for all the crimes they will commit against the DESTINY OF THIS GREAT NATION....need I say more....am truly sad for the future I see ahead....the looted riches you would leave for your families, don't worry they will sell everything because they came cheap, they didn't ever work for them....FUNNY THIS LIFE....here on earth....

...WE ARE BETTER GHANAIANS THAN WHAT WE EXHIBIT AND PORTRAY IN ALL OUR DISCOURSES ON RADIO, TV, SOCIAL MEDIA AND AMONGST US EVERY SECOND, EVERY MINUTE, EVERY HOUR AND EVERY DAY....
