Open note to my compatriot Koo Ghanaman - Let’s be real

It’s a shame that the black man, more often than not, resorts to the destruction of properties to vent out his anger/frustration.

What he has destroyed in his own vicinity, he goes to another place to access.

What dramatic cum poetic justice! Quite theatrical, isn’t it? Respect is earned and not given. Civility must prevail over barbarism. We, as blacks, should respect ourselves before the other races will respect us.

Is the black man capable of handling his own affairs? Yes. I know so.

That being the case, let’s all move away from ridicule, shaking of heads, wagging of tongues, pointing of fingers and rolling of eyes and move forward to discussing issues dispassionately.

Ghana must succeed. We may have fallen behind but can play catch up, overcome and overtake from an emerging (developing) economy to a developed economy to be the envy of other nations.

China, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan were once like us but have made it.

Most recently and significantly, also, is Rwanda, which came from the backstreet of a pained experience to a country on a forward march.

But it starts with love for country and enlightenment (education).

My thoughts….please feel free to agree to disagree.

od bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong.
