From Kantamanto to stanford; Emergence of African entrepreneurial spirit
From humble business beginnings at “Kantamanto,”to sharing his entrepreneurial prowess with postgraduate business students within the walls of the prestigious Stanford University in the US, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, the CEO of UT Bank, has defied all odds, overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges, and been victorious in his journey towards becoming one of the most influential entrepreneurs in Ghana and Africa. Engaging with postgraduate business students of Stanford University recently, Mr Amoabeng recounted his life story, his successes, failures and his ultimate zeal to succeed in his service to humankind through the establishment and growth of the UT brand, which consists of UT Bank, UT Life, UT Properties, UT Private Security, UT Logistics, UT Collections and UT Holdings.
