AGRITECH is one of the world’s most important exhibitions in the field of agricultural technologies. This year’s event will be held from April 28 to 30, 2015 at the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The breakfast meeting will offer stakeholders the opportunity to get a glimpse of the upcoming conference and exhibition and learn about the possibilities to plan a tailor-made visit and meetings, so as to maximise the results of their attendance.
AGRITECH 2015
AGRITECH 2015 will focus on Post-Harvest and Food Security. The world is currently witnessing negative impacts in the agricultural sector due to the influences of nature such as climate change, depleting natural resources and economic influences in the form of the needs of the developing world.
Ghana is no exception to these challenges. These conditions will continue to exert their influence not only on crop production, but also on the increasing value of harvest.
This situation prompts the need for an investment in post-harvest systems which are quite diverse depending on the place, crop or products and the different stages of activities involved.

It is for this reason that this year’s AGRITECH will create one platform needed for the presentation and examination of high technology yet practical in post-harvest methods and processes.
AGRITECH conference and exhibition is held in Israel once every three years.
The previous AGRITECH, held in 2012, attracted a total of 35,100 visitors including one prime minister, 40 ministers of agriculture and many deputy ministers as well as 253 exhibitors from around the world. Approximately, 16 per cent of all foreign visitors were from Africa, 25 per cent from India and 24 per cent from Europe. AGRITECH 2015 is expected to attract an even larger patronage with senior government officials confirmed to attend.
Israeli Ambassador’s call

"Israeli agricultural technology is offering innovation, creativity and adaptability to varying challenges.
“In Ghana, it is estimated that more than half of agricultural output is lost annually. Israel and Ghana can join forces to face the challenges of post-harvest losses and create food security and self-sufficiency,” she said.
