Adam The Eve opens in Accra

The opening night of Adam The Eve comes off at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra and Westhills Malls tomorrow, Friday, September 1 at 6: 30pm and 9:30pm.

Adam The Eve produced by Ghanaian actress Ingrid Alabi and features actors Majid Michel, Roselyn Ngissah, Ingrid Alabi, Peter Richie and Shatta Wale is about a man who is not appreciative of his wife.

Dreadlocks/Natural Hair Festival to open in Accra

The first Dreadlocks and Natural Hair Festival will on Saturday, September 9, take place at the Mikesh Salon Park, which is located in Adabraka, a suburb of Accra.

Activities lined up at the festival which is being organised by Mikesh Crown productions include free dreadlocks and natural hairdo, exhibition of photos of different dreadlocks and natural hair and as well as catwalk by models with dreadlocks and natural hair.

Osu, La celebrate Homowo

Hundreds of La and Osu natives thronged the La and Osu township last Tuesday for the Homowo Homecoming, which is known as Lorlemlitamor by the people of La and Soo Ntang by those from Osu.

The Homecoming which is one of the activities that mark celebration of the festival.

Alliance Francaise hosts ‘Dance The Time’

A contemporary dance piece that illustrates and addresses social and hierarchical complexity in the Ghanaian society,  will be performed on Friday, August 25 at the Alliance Francaise in Accra.

Titled ‘Dance The Time’, the production is the result of a three-day workshop  for contemporary dancers led by Felix Ofosu Dompreh of Kuyum Arts Investigation in Accra.

National Symphony Orchestra, Edem to light up Franklin Lodge
