“Comedy has come a long way and I would like to encourage the young ones to keep up the good work”.

Just before KSM was presented with his award, DKB came on stage and also had some really nice things to say about KSM. According to him, it was KSM who encouraged him to go into comedy because he lookd at how much he could make for filling a venue like the National Theatre like KSM does.

Parrot Mouth was on top of his game as he gave jokes about Kumawood taking a swipe at Lilwin and others. He was also on the case of artistes for wearing dark glassed on stage.

Lekzy The Comic got the audience reciting poems and singing along with him. He also scored some high points just like his other colleagues.

When he took his turn, Hogan touched on the ecomony and unemployment saying that as a result, there are more musicians than policemen in the country.

Kenny Black’s bit on how to woo a lady and his experiences at airports in the UK and USA, coupled with his singing went down very well with the audience.

Musician Irene Logan was on hand to treat patrons to songs from her repertoire and one must admit that she really has an amazing voice.
