Let any competent person take care of your son - Court to Akuapem Poloo
When an Accra Circuit Court sentenced actress Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo to her 90-day jail term in April this year, one of the major concerns was what would happen to her son Mudasir Muhammed Yakubu because she was the one taking care of him.
After enjoying some time with her son while out on bail pending the hearing of her appeal, on Wednesday, December 1, the High Court upheld the Circuit Court's ruling meaning Akuapem Poloo has to go back to jail and serve the rest of her sentence.
Most importantly, the court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey ordered that in the absence of Akuapem Poloo, Mudasir, who turned 8 this year, should be given to any competent person in the family to take care of.
