Jupitar and DKB allege tribalism in GH’s showbiz industry

Award winning comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney commonly known as DKB and dancehall artiste Jupitar are raising concerns about tribal preferential treatment for non-Ga entertainers.

In an earlier tweet on Saturday, January 21, the Enemies hitmaker alleged that despite the hard work of Ga creatives, they hardly enjoy any better support.

Citing the likes of Shatta Wale, King Promise, DKB and himself as examples, Jupitar disclosed that Ga-speaking artistes have been sidelined in the entertainment industry.

“This whole industry is a set up and if you be “Ga” like myself, @shattawalegh, @IamKingPromise or @dkbghana etc certain kinda support you go suffer or you no go get kraaa no matter the effort,” he tweeted and later deleted.

Jupitar’s comments were not taken lightly by social media users who condemned him for stirring up needless tribal comments.

Whiles such critics are perhaps waiting for an apology, comedian DKB has rather come out to show support for Jupitar.

In a tweet today, January 23, DKB mentioned that Jupitar’s comments were not out of place since he is aware of the tribal caucus.

“Oh Anyemi! The tribal agenda and caucus we know them all, we won’t stop fighting them. Gas will arise. Am3ny3m333 atotomi”, he tweeted.
