I’m fired up for my show on Sunday -Bernard Amankwah
Gospel Singer Bernard Amankwah has said he is fired up for this year’s Celebration of His Grace Concert to lead patrons in eventful sessions of praise and worship at the National Theatre on Sunday, September 24.
According to him, he carefully selected the theme of “My offering” to reflect the importance of one providing him/herself as a vessel for the promotion of God’s business and that would be the focus of the upcoming programme.
This will be the 16th edition and, as always, it will be a time of celebration and gratitude for the Presence artiste and patrons for God’s unfailing mercies.
The anticipation for the upcoming event has been heightened with the release of a new video for his song, Your Presence.
Amankwah explained that this song had a divine origin, as it was a melody that God had placed in his heart.
Each year, Celebration of His Grace brings together worshippers and Gospel music enthusiasts under one roof, creating an atmosphere of devotion and adoration.
And this year, he will be joined by iOna Reine, Perez Musik, Michael Kesse, Nii Soul and Jayana to uplift the spirits of patrons with songs of praise and worship.
In a conversation with Graphic Showbiz, Amankwah shared his vision for the event, highlighting how iOna Reine and Irene Logan, Kesse and Nii Soul, among others, are inspirational figures who had overcome their challenges and were now a blessing to others.
He noted that they being part of the performing artistes on the day equally gave more meaning to the theme, summarising the essence of giving back and sharing blessings.
Bernard has gained notable recognition for songs such as Presence, Mercy Rescues Me and I'm Redeemed.
He also indicated how he was passionate about sharing the message of God's grace through music and his annual concert; thus, he is encouraging patrons to be part of this year’s show for an awesome time in the presence of the Lord.
