Young, bright fashion designer, Lololi Quashigah, will unfold her latest creations at a show slated for Saturday, August 5 at the Paloma Hotel on the Spintex Road in Accra.
It would be the 14-year-old designer’s third exhibition after previous ones at N’Joy Hotel (2015) and Oak Plaza Hotel (2016), both in Accra.
Ms Quashigah, who works with a team of youngsters aged between 10 and 16 who refer to themselves as Lololi.co, said some people doubted if they could sustain their passion for creativity but they have survived and are even climbing higher in their endeavours.
According to her, what they do “provides a platform for both creative designers to display their art and an equal opportunity for young models and performers to display their talents.”
Five new clothing lines: Mason; Kayayo; Okada; Pusher and Force II to highlight certain underrated occupations will be unveiled at the upcoming show.
“This is being done to celebrate those jobs and the people who find themselves in those occupation,” Ms Quashigah said.
The show will be hosted by young professionals and there will be music and other performances from acts, some of whom have featured on TV3’s Talented Kids programme.
