Video - Wendy Shay responds to Shatta Wale’s marriage proposal
‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker Wendy Shay says she will make her intentions known on the dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s proposal by calling him personally to give him an answer.
According to her, the 'My Level' hitmaker was a 'very' nice person and that she simply could not hide her excitement about the dancehall acts’ intent to marry her as soon as possible if she were single.
Wendy Shay and Shatta Wale have been trending for a couple of reasons recently.
First, Wendy Shay featured Shatta Wale on her latest record dubbed ‘Stevie Wonder’ and Shatta Wale proposed to Wendy Shay last Saturday on Joy FM.
Speaking with MzGee, Wendy Shay said “I heard that…I think it is strictly between Shatta and me so I will give him the answer behind cameras. If you know Shatta Wale, you will know that he is a very free-spirited and open-minded person, I mean he is a very very very nice person. Very nice, that’s all I can say,” she said.

Shatta Wale however in a post on Instagram, called for the RuffTown Records star to consider marrying him.
The Rufftown Records signee Wendy Shay again described Shatta Wale as her godfather and therefore refused to give any positive or negative answer to Wale’s proposal, insisting that she would reply to him in a phone call.
“As for that one I really cannot say it on air so I am going to tell him, we are going to talk,” she said.
