D Cryme ‘swears’ to his love

Singing about love isn’t new to Tema based artiste, D Cryme and the artiste who prides himself as the originator of “Twi Pop” is back with a new single called I Swear.

A simple love piece that sees D Cryme profess his love for his partner, I Swear is a slow tempo love song.

On the track, he appreciates the challenges that come with being faithful to his partner and vows to honour his promise of being a good partner.

“Commitment is key in keeping any relationship and this piece is just to let my love interest know how serious I am about her.

To prove that, I had to swear on my words that I will forever love her and that informed my choice of words,” he told Showbiz in an interview on Friday.

D. Cryme says I Swear, which was was produced by Bentil Beatz, mixed and mastered by Possigee is a Valentine anthem.

“This is my val’s gift to our beautiful women for their sacrifices to make unions work.

I just want them to know that it’s our responsibility to make them happy and we swear to uphold the vow,” he said.

At Present, the video of I Swear, directed by a US-based Ghanaian video director is showing on some television stations.

The Koko Sakora singer says he has already put in place measures to enjoy better patronage from music audiences this year and he is sure I Swear will get enough attention.

D. Cryme, real name, Darlington Kwesi Agyekum, hit the limelight with his debut single, Kill Me Shy in 2010.

He followed it up with his first album titled, Finally Finally and will release his second album later this year.
