Wiyaala set to thrill at wine festival

She has travelled the world with her enchanting Afrobeats music and her fans and many more will once again see what makes Noella Wiyaala such a world-beater when she performs on Friday, November 10 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The ever-exciting Wiyaala will be there to add extra flavour to this year’s VinAfrica International Wine Festival & Trade Show.

The young lady from the Upper West Region, known for songs like Make Me Dance, Rock My Body, You Got The Power, Angel, Tuma and Tinambanyi is herself like a glass of good wine which invigorates the system when imbibed.

She has been praised globally for her fascinating stage act and powerful voice. Her energy level doesn’t diminish on stage and guests on the night can look forward to a rousing time with her from 7.00pm, supported by the Djimba World Band.

The festival, on the whole, is tailored to be an entertaining package for lovers of wine, food and good music. So the lawns of the Labadi Beach Hotel will be converted into a bazaar with cuisines as well as assorted wines and liquors from different countries.

Ten vineyard owners from Italy will be at the event. It will be the turn of the Calabash Band to move the festival forward by providing live music for cocktails, wine tasting, business interactions and pool party sessions on Saturday, November 11 at the Best Western Premier Hotel, also in Accra.

Abrantie Amakye Dede will help bring the curtain down on the festival at 7.00pm at a gala dinner event and fashion show on Sunday, November 12 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

“There will be raffles for trips to vineyards from participating countries. A surprise guest of honour will drop in on us but above everything, it is going to be a great night of music and fun,” said Vanessa Djaba, main organiser of the festival.
