The Dream Child 3 concert is a charity show to benefit children. It is being organised for the Dream Child Foundation by Kofi Amoakohene’s Scratch Studios.

Artistes billed to perform at the March 22 concert include Paul Bilson, Steve Bedi, Kunle Ayo, Dela Botri and Ben Brako. The world-famous Osibisa band with guitarists Wendel Richardson and Greg Brown will also be there.

The Dream Child Foundation, founded by Ben Brako and Kofi Amoakohene, had over the last three years empowered needy African children to grow up into responsible adults.

It has done that by raising funds through a major concert each year and money given to a specific organisation working in children’s interests.

Becca, Elivava, Stephanie Benson, Paulette Broohm from Ghana; Yinka Davies from Nigeria and acclaimed French flutist, Sabine Boyer, will light up the evening with their performances as well.

“The musicians coming from France, Nigeria and England have all arrived. They are all set, along with those based here,  to offer an evening of thrills. ,” says Kofi Amoakohene of Scratch Studios.

Proceeds from this year’s concert will go to benefit Orphan Aid Africa which works to put orphans in foster homes instead of institutions.
