Valentine’s Day treat at Oak Plaza
In Accra, the Oak Plaza Hotel on the Spintex Road has announced details of its Valentine’s Day Special Get-away Treat.

According to Semira Anku, Sales and Marketing Manager for the hotel, there would be a special Valentine’s Day dinner with sumptuous grills on February 14 and February 15.
The 7.00 p.m. event will have guests served with cocktails on arrival. They will also be treated to a harmonious melodies and performances from the Down Town Mega Band.
Couples who wish to spend the night at the hotel will be offered special discounted rates.
Oak Plaza also has a Facebook competition through which people can win dinner vouchers or a night’s stay by sharing stories of how they met the special person in their lives.
To be eligible, participants must be 18 years old and above. They must then like the ‘oakplazahotels’ Facebook page and share their stories with pictures. Each story must not exceed 200 words.
“Followers of the Oak Plaza Facebook page will determine the winner of the contest by the most likes by February 10,” says the hotel’s Sales and Marketing Manager.
She added that prizes for the competition included a night’s stay for three couples and a candlelit dinner for the ultimate winning couple.
