“Love seems difficult to find and identify in contemporary times as society puts so much weight  on what it is all about, how it should look and how it should be presented,” says Ms Oduro, a graduate of the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon.

The Perfect Man Play is her directorial debut after graduation three years ago. It’s about a young radio presenter who thinks she has seen and heard it all when it comes to what romantic love is about.

She falls for a character she least expects to but does she stay in the relationship or try to wiggle out of it due to her ‘crazy’ notions about love?

“Lots of ideas abound everywhere about romantic love. People make all sorts of claims about it and the play only tries to dissect some of the widely held views”, Ms Oduro says.

The Perfect Man Play is produced by Royale Hauteu, a management and artistic production house,  in collaboration with playhouse.kom
