Their intention, among other things, is to demonstrate art as an effective communication tool.

Works by Samuel Agbenyegah are characterised by crowds, sheds, stylised huts, lines and geometric shapes that have been woven into a mass with underpinning messages from the Bible.

Billy Baffoe-Bonnie’s paintings embrace semi abstracts with human figures randomly popping out of the canvas. Broad brush strokes, lines, women, as well as animal motifs, surround colourful backgrounds.

Robert Osei Anim creates dense lines that tend to inundate the canvas alongside stylised trees, sheds and grids effectively presented with warm and cool colours.

Huge and colourful brush strokes characterise the work of Maxwell Boadi, who leaves a great deal of white space in some works, thereby enabling them to sparkle. Exaggerated human figures and colourful portraits form part of his work.

Joseph Adibleku captures scenes around him with colourful abstracts, geometric figures/shapes, stylised human figures and landscapes that appear serene and tranquil.

Highly influenced by nature, paintings by Nicholas Allotey comprise pencil works of landscapes, portraits and semi-abstracts that employ giant eye-like motifs that intersperse features of peacocks.

The exhibition ends on Saturday, October 22.
