Mrs Annica Nsiah-Apau, Managing Director of  Firmbrigdes Communications, the company producing the show disclosed  in an interview with The Mirror  that proceeds from the upcoming  show would go to support  Okyeame Kwame’s free Hepatitis B screening and vaccination exercise.

‘For some time now, the Okyeame Kwame Foundation has embarked on an annual Hepatitis B screening and vaccination and we have been able to screen about 6,000 people across the country,” said  Mrs Nsiah-Apau  who is also Okyeame Kwame’s wife.

“From the first show, we were able to settle the costs involved in the production and so we have decided to use the proceeds from this repeat  show to support our Hepatitis B project,” she explained.

On what to expect at the show, Mrs Nsiah-Apau said: “We are doing a replay because of the positive feedback we had from the audience. We are going to eliminate all the petty errors from the first show and give patrons the very best this time around.”

Apart from Okyeame Kwame, other stars  set to feature in ‘The Beggars’ include  Adjetey ‘Pusher’ Anang, Ecow Smith-Asante, Roland Adom, Wanlov the Kubolor, Benjamin Kwadey, Adina, Samini, Keche and Praye Eugene (Choir Master).

The show starts at 8.00pm.
