The last time reggae was the main fare at +233 was in September last year when world-acclaimed Jamaican acts, Mutabaruka and Tony Rebel, were hosted at the venue.

According to Knii Lante of Deluge Entertainment, reggae has a large and loyal following across this country and it was necessary to bring musicians and fans of the music together regularly at various venues to interact and have fun.

Lovers of the music  who can make it to the show will definitely have fun as the  list of performers include veteran rockers like Mawuli Nukpese and Osagyefo as well as contemporary crowd pleasers like Episode and Jupitar.

“It is a splendid combination of artistes we have tonight. We are all looking forward to a great night of thrilling reggae,” Knii Lante said.

The Bighills Band which has proved over the last two years or so to be the group with the tightest reggae grooves in the nation, will back all the artistes.  Emcees for the programme are Empress Lomo, King Lagazee and Root Eye.
