Opoku Mensah performs at Alliance Francaise
He won the Best African Music Composer and Best African Pianist and he is expected to give a good account of himself when he mounts the stage tomorrow to dish out some good highlife pieces to patrons.

Recently, he played at a concert at +233 Jazz Bar & Grill in Accra where he won the confidence of many music lovers. He, therefore, promises more exciting moments at tomorrow’s 8:00 pm gig.
An advocate for African music, Opoku says, “Music is a mark of identity, I value African music and my choice for African music is to express my pride to be an African”.
Opoku Mensah and his Nananom Band represent their roots with the collections from their new album, Spirit of Africa launched in 2014.
They performed at the last Africa Rhythms Festival of Music held at Forever Parkin in Lome, Togo.
He has played at several concerts on the local scene most of which happened in Accra at Republic Bar, Alliance Française Accra, Burger & Relish and +233 Jazz Bar and Grill.
