In Ho, the walk took off from the Central Market to the Centre for National Culture (CNC) where the forum was addressed by the Regional Director for the CNC, Emmanuel Quao.

He commended the musicians for their desire for peace and urged them to continue to be at the forefront in the search for peace in the nation.

“If there is no peace, no one can work. You musicians cannot record or play your live shows and there won’t be anybody to patronise your work,” the CNC boss said.

Other speakers  in Ho included veteran musician  Mama Grace and MUSIGA patron in the region,  Efo Edinam Ansah.

In Koforidua in the Eastern Region last weekend, the regional Police Commander, Superintendent Richardson Kumaeko,  assured participants of the readiness of the police to  maintain order in the country.

He urged everyone to be law-abiding to ensure peaceful and credible elections.

The Chief Imam of Koforidua, Sheik Osman Amdani,  also advised the youth  not to allow themselves to be used as pawns by politicians and others who might want to disturb the peace.

The MUSIGA peace train will next head to the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, on July 28 and end in Accra on August 20.
