Legend Ball set for a return
The LAL Ball series was started in 2011 and Daddy Lumba was the first musician honoured. He was followed in 2012 by Amakye Dede and AB Crentsil was honoured last year.

With all the talk about the current economic situation not being favourable for a lot of corporate entities, there is speculation, especially in music business circles, that there may not be a LAL Ball this year.
Kojo Soboh, Events and Promotions Manager at Imajin Advertising did not want to give anything away.
He said his outfit had held a series of meetings recently over a LAL Ball for this year and the public would be made aware as soon as definite decisions are taken.
“We know we have introduced a product well-liked by the public. The three events we have had so far were well-patronised so there are key considerations to make if we are to stage another LAL Ball,” the Imajin Advertising official said.
The initial LAL Ball introduced Imajin Advertising as a real force in event management and the outfit has tried hard to maintain the high standard it set.
It organised the Stand Up GH concert featuring American R&B singer, Keri Hilson, and rapper, Bow Wow in 2012 and also staged the MTN Ghana Stands In Worship concert last year.
“We are aware of the reputation we have earned and would want to maintain or exceed that with whatever we do next,” Kojo Soboh said.
Meanwhile, keen followers of the music scene are already hard at work guessing who would be honoured if another LAL Ball comes off.
Names being dropped include Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, Nana Ampadu, Jewel Ackah, Paapa Yankson and George Darko.
