Kumasi crusade to fly on wings of music

With a bevy of gospel music groups and bands scheduled to perform at the three- day crusade, organisers, Living Testimony for Jesus Bible Ministry (LTJBM) say the crusade would be a time for praise, worship, prayer and spiritual  intercession for Ghana.

Expected to perform at the crusade are the Shiloh Gospel Music Academy, the Calvary Praise Sisters backed by the Hallelujah Band and the Junior LTJBM Live Gospel Band, also known as the “Ayeyie o group.”

It would be recalled that in 2008, the Shiloh Music Academy launched the biggest gospel project in Ghana dubbed "Ghana Gospel Project 2008" with an unprecedented launch of three  albums at the National Theatre to bring African gospel music back to its roots.

The Hallelujah Band, made up of little children, would  thrill the audience to a gripping performance, including songs from their maiden ‘Paapa Ne Maame’ album.

Nee Lantey Bruce, one of the organisers of the crusade,  told The Mirror in an interview that the groups are prepared to minister and bring down God’s blessings.

He said after the Kumasi revival, the team would hold similar sessions in Accra, Koforidua, Takoradi, Ho and Sunyani.

“This Ministry preaches the unadulterated salvation message of Jesus and we support  our efforts with music that touches hearts as they wait for the second coming of Christ, ” Nee Lante stated.
