Glorious Philharmonic hosts concert

The Glorious Philharmonic Choir is an inter-denominational choir whose name was deduced from the sound that emanates from the singers’ voices which was termed ‘glorious sound’.

The choir was incorporated on October 13, 2014 as a limited liability company under the leadership of Mr Michael Imbeah who is currently the group’s music director.

They hope to be the leader in all facet of Ghanaian choral music bringing encouragement and inspiration to listeners as well as promote choral music in Ghana and to develop potentials in choral music.

According to Mr Micheal Imbeah, they hope to achieve this through regular rehearsals, voice training sessions, music seminars, periodic skills improvement training as well as ministering to people during events such as corporate and national events, weddings, funerals, concerts etc.

The Glorious Philharmonic Choir has performed at some prestigious events in the country like the William Ofori-Atta Memorial lectures, Adom TV Carols Night, Databank End of Year Thanksgiving Service, Surfline End of Year Thanksgiving Service among others.

In the near future, the choir hopes to build a music school where knowledge in music can be acquired.

A symphony orchestra and a band will also be established to accompany the choir during performances.
