The first edition of Glo Laffta Fest was wonderful, with patrons having a good time and come tomorrow, September 9, it will be a double dose of laughter at the Fantasy Dome inside the Trade Fair Centre in Accra when eight comedians from Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda take to the stage to bring the laughs to Glo subscribers and friends.
The second Laffta Fest will be the third in the series of five mega events, comprising comedy and music shows, Glo is bringing to Ghanaians as part of its relaunch here.
A music show, Glo Mega Music, which came off on August 25, was all excitement as the audience was treated to great songs and stagecraft from Sarkodie, Davido, Yemi Alade, Flavour, Kuami Eugene, Patapaa and Tekno .
For the second Laffta Fest, Ghanaian comedians DKB, Khemikal and Foster Romanus will be joined by Nigeria’s Basketmouth, Gordons, Dan D Humorous, Senator and Salvador from Uganda to thrill patrons.
Some upcoming acts are also billed to showcase their skills on the big platform being provided by Glo.
In a statement, Glo said tomorrow’s event would start at 4 p.m. and assured subscribers of an exciting comedy time which would outshine the best of humour which was on display at the last edition in August.
The Uganda-born Salvador, who said he was eager for a return to Accra, urged subscribers to troop to the Fantasy Dome to have a good time.
Glo urged those who did not already have Glo but wished to be part of the show to visit any Glo shop or approach any of the mobile promotional teams of Glo to purchase a pre-bundled Sim and secure their entry tickets instantly.
