The St Theresa’s Catholic Church at Kaneshie, Accra will be the place to be on Sunday, November 12, when the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (Archdiocese of Accra) hosts this year’s City Praise 2017.
Themed: “Experiencing the New Pentecost through worship for Evangelisation”, the various choirs in the diocese will treat patrons to renditions of both local and foreign gospel songs.
The event is one that both Catholic and non-Catholic members look forward to yearly because of its spiritual impact and excitement is building ahead of this year’s event. In attendance will be the CCR Mass Worship Team.
In an interview with Showbiz on Friday, Agnes Nketiah, a member of the organising team said City Praise has become an annual thanksgiving service for the Catholic community and has also created opportunities for socialization.
“This is one of the events that brings members from the various dioceses together and we are expecting a good patronage this year,” she said.
