‘Amazing Child’ contestants in Cape Coast
TV Africa has given the children an opportunity to visit the Cape Coast and Elmina castles, Kakum Forest, some palaces and other venues of interest in the Central Region.
They will crown the visit to Cape Coast with performances at the Centre for National Culture from 5 p.m. The idea behind the show, TV Africa officials say, is to showcase their talent live to the people of Cape Coast.
It has become part of the Amazing Child programme for contestants to visit historical sites in the country. Last year saw them in the Ashanti Region where they toured places such as the Manhyia Palace, Kumasi Zoo and the Centre for National Culture
The Amazing Child programme is in its fourth season this year. It shows live on TV Africa on Saturdays at 2.30 p.m. It is hosted by Fafa Asiam and Yaw Osei.
The theme for this year’s programme is ‘Let’s Celebrate Our Own’ and it is being used to commemorate TV Africa’s 10th anniversary.
This year’s Amazing Child reality show is sponsored by Indomie, Foramen Junior Brush, Hooch Cornflakes, Yammi Instant Garimix and supported by Fan Milk Ghana Ltd, Loretta Unisex Designs, Hometouch Restaurant and Krafty Hospitality.
