Accra grooves to Glo Slide & Bounce concert
As expected by many, Nigerian twin songsters P.Square and rapper, MI teamed up with Ghanaian stars Edem, Sherifa Gunu, Kwabena Kwabena, Asem and Gyedu Blay Ambolley to offer a delicious fare of music that kept the audience dancing till the wee hours of Sunday morning.
The Accra concert was the second of a three-city Glo Slide & Bounce show organised to express appreciation to subscribers who have been loyal to the Glo brand over the last 18 months of operation in Ghana.
Emcees DJ Black, Okey Bakassi and Reggie Rockstone ensured there were no dull moments by filling intervals with popular contemporary music, supplying rib-cracking jokes and adlibbing.
They also organised spontaneous dance and mime competitions in which winners received Glo corporate gifts and free credits.
A cross- section of the audience praised Glo Mobile for always promoting African indigenous culture and artistes while describing the Slide & Bounce concert as highly entertaining.
They commended the featured artistes, especially PSquare, for their spectacular output.
PSquare was very entertaining with their ingenious traditional twins competition during which they performed stunts like playing different musical instruments to show who was better.
The final Slide and Bounce encounter will come off at the Takoradi Jubilee Park on Saturday November 23.
Music fans can attend by recharging a minimum of GH¢ 5 on their Glo lines and texting “Takoradi” to short code 5301.
Those not yet on the network can buy a Glo SIM and go through the same process to see the show.
