According to him, this has become necessary in view of the fact that the energy and economic challenges currently being experienced are likely to persist in 2015, adding that, “What this means is that we need to be more creative and innovative in the way we do things”.

Mr Boateng said this when the company, producers of Woodin, Nustyle and GTP fabrics, climaxed the year with carols and a thanksgiving service at the weekend.

The occasion was the first by the company and was meant to express gratitude to God for His mercies on the company and to thank the staff for their dedication to work throughout the year in review.

"As I always say, we were not hired to do easy tasks. We are here to solve problems. I, therefore, believe in you to deliver. We will face the challenges of 2015 and conquer them," he said.

He expressed optimism that the company would achieve its target and grow its business by the end of next year.

"Despite the  numerous challenges which affected our business negatively, the Lord has been good to us and we have been good to ourselves also”.

“I feel happy and proud that we never had any worker agitations this year. This is the kind of industrial atmosphere I want us to create and have every year.  And together we can do that," he added.

Mr Boateng also expressed his gratitude to the company's trade partners for their support over the years.

He called for continuous support in the coming  years and pledged to continue to listen to their concerns and fashion out appropriate actions.
