Radiance Petroleum opens new station at Dansoman
The Radiance Petroleum Company Limited, an oil marketing company, has opened a new service station at Dansoman Paa Willy Junction in Accra to serve motorists in that part of the country.
The opening of the Dansoman service station brings to 39 the number of Radiance filling stations across seven regions in the country.

The new service station, which is equipped with facilities to ensure the safety, satisfaction, security and friendly customer interaction also have convenient entry and exit points.
Similarly, the station has supermarket as well as offering mobile money services.
At the opening ceremony on Friday, February 15, 2019, the Managing Director of the company, Mr Emmanuel Pobee, pledged the commitment of the company to maintain high standards and improve upon its service delivery at all its stations across the country.
He said Radiance Petroleum had taken an important step to ensure value for money and ensure that it serves its customers with the best of fuel, while offering more subsidized prices.
Mr Pobee said the company would continue to offer best customer services, hence urging the motoring public to patronage their stations.
He said the company has specially trained service attendants who understand the business, pointing out that “We are going to ensure that when customers come to our station, they fell like they belong.”
He explained that reliability, safety and trust will be the hallmark of the newly opened service station, stating that “You deserve the best of fuel.”
According to Mr Pobee, the company currently has over 280 permanent employees, stating that Radiance Petroleum apart from offering quality fuel, is also noted for being a good corporate citizen.
He said since its inception in March 2013, the company has embarked on several corporate social responsibilities in both its operative areas and non-operative zones.
Mr Pobee said the company’s “Rplus Card” which was on piloting basis has been successfully integrated and was available for purchase and use at all its service stations.
Speaking at the event, an Assistant Divisional Officer Grade One (ADO1), Mr Ernest Bruce, a representative from the Ghana National Fire Service, advised motorists, particularly drivers to always switch off their engines anytime they go to fill their tanks at the pumps.
He said failure to put cars engine off could result in fire, saying “When there is fuel, oxygen and heat”, fire can easily start.
He further urged drivers not to drive too close to the pumps when they go to fill their tanks at the fuel stations.
