Prof Dave Ulrich to speak at HR seminar

A human resource management expert from the United States of America (USA), Prof Dave Ulrich, is to share his experiences and perspectives on the subject at the upcoming HR Transformation and Leadership Master Classes in Accra.

The HR Transformation and Leadership Classes scheduled for July 30 and 31, 2013, is part of the 'Strategic Management in Action' series and will be on the theme ‘From Cost-Cutting to Value Creation: Driving Workplace Performance Through Best HR Practices".

Prof Dave Ulrich, who was recently voted the Most Influential HR Person, is expected to share with participants his enormous experience on how employers dive workplace perfomnce through comparatively low-cost intiatives.

His participation in the seminar,  to be held at the plush La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, is at the instance of 2SL Limited and Corporate Aims Services Limited, both HR advisors and consultants in the country.

The event is aimed at shaping the future of the HR profession in the country and Africa at large.

It is also expected to examine the latest trends in the profession, define the contributions that HR makes to the success of businesses, and offer actionable ideas and tools needed to ensure that it helps in transforming organisations.

The organisers are optimistic the seminar will help promote best practices in human resource management in both the public and private sectors.
