Opportunity International relocates its Abuakwa branch
Opportunity International Savings and Loans (Opportunity International) has officially relocated its Abuakwa branch in the Atwima Nkwabiagya District in the Ashanti Region to a new and more convenient location.
The relocation is aimed at providing a more spacious environment to serve its cherished clients better.

Speaking at a durbar, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Opportunity International, Mr Kwame Owusu-Boateng, assured clients that the institution was fully compliant with Bank of Ghana (BoG) regulations.
Strong liquidity status
He also affirmed the company’s strong liquidity position to meet clients’ obligations.
The company has 43 outlets that are dotted in nine regions out of the 16 regions of Ghana and with a total asset of GH¢235.1 million and shareholders net worth of GH¢40.5 million.
The Board Chairman of the institution, Mr Katey Assem, therefore, advised clients to take advantage of the company’s wide range of financial services and technological platforms such as cell phone banking, ATMs with E-zwich and GH-link compatibility.
Don’t be troubled
The Municipal Chief Executive of Atwima Kwabiagya District, Mr Michael Amoah Awuku, allayed the fears of clients who might have been troubled by the problems that had plagued the banking sector in recent times.
He indicated that the actions by the central bank were aimed at pruning fraudulent and weak financial institutions to make the banking system stronger and resilient.
He added that although public confidence in the banking sector had gone down, there were still some well-structured financial institutions such as Opportunity International which had stood the test of time and encouraged the general public to do business with the institution.

He expressed his gratitude to all the clients of the institution for their continuous support and dedication during the past 15 years of operation in Ghana and the seven years of their existence in the Atwima Nkwabiagya District.
