Mr Nettey was speaking at a ceremony in Accra to mark the official commencement of the operations of Innova DDB Ghana and the inauguration of its head office at Kanda.

Innova DDB is a full service integrated marketing communications agency affiliated to DDB Global, an international creative advertising agency. DDB is the initials of the founders of the international advertising agency - Ned Doyle, Maxwell Dane, and Bill Bernbach.

"In Africa, Innova DDB has strong agencies with significant presence in Nigeria, all of French West Africa, Kenya and South Africa. With the focus on creativity and its positive effect on our clients' bottom lines, we have pulled together a young but experienced, free-spirited but focused team to deliver on the marketing communications expectations of businesses of all sizes in Ghanaian markets and beyond,” Mr Nettey said.

He reaffirmed Innova DDB Ghana's commitment to contribute positively to making their clients and their brands number one in their respective industries; and for those who were already number one, to maintain that position.

Speaking at the event, the President of the Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG), Mrs Norkor Duah, said, "The dynamics of the industry have evolved. The world today has embraced specialised agencies and creative brand strategies, public relations, media planning and buying, below-the-line or activation and many more.”

Mrs Duah pointed out that Africa had become a beckoning continent full of immense opportunities and yet not coherent in its output.

“In all of these, opportunities are so evident and agencies such as Innova DDB Ghana can only add on to create the necessary impact,” she stressed.
