GT Bank partners Starbow e-ticket payment collections
Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited has entered into a partnership agreement with Aero Surveys Limited, operator of Starbow, to collect payments for its e-ticket reservations across the bank’s branches nationwide.

The deal creates a partnership of expediency between the two companies while providing convenient options for customers that make their Starbow ticket reservations online or through telephone.
A release issued in Accra by the bank which won the Best Bank in Mobile Banking at the recent Ghana Banking Awards said after that was done, payment was made at any GT Bank branch nearby with the secret code generated from the online or telephone bookings.
“Once payment is made, GT Bank automatically sends notification to Starbow, upon which the e-ticket reservation is confirmed, with the evidence of payment instantly reflecting in Starbow’s accounts,” the release said.
The release said one key benefit of the partnership was that instant notification was sent through secure and predetermined e-mail channels to designated Starbow staff immediately a ticket payment was made.
“Others include increased customer satisfaction as payments can be made at convenient locations where the traditional GT Bank prompt service is enjoyed and the fact that passengers do not have to carry large sums of money over great distances to make payments for tickets,” it said.
Commenting on the partnership, the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited, Mr Lekan Sanusi, is quoted by the release as saying: “We are delighted once again to include yet another service that increases the convenience for our customers and those of Starbow.”
On the other hand, the Head of Sales and Marketing of Starbow, Mr Piero De Angelis, also noted: “We are delighted that GT Bank recognised and responded to our needs and the needs of our passengers and, through this partnership, we are able to offer customers enhanced services backed with speed and convenience of booking.”
