Graphic Business, Stanbic hold breakfast meeting on EPA

The Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) in partnership with Stanbic Bank held a breakfast meeting on the implications of signing the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) on local businesses.

The breakfast meeting, an initiative of the GCGL brought together government representatives, players in the private sector as well as civil society representatives to discuss the way forward on the EPA. 

The second in the series organised by the company, the meeting also aimed at deliberating on how to improve business confidence to support local business.

It was held on the theme: “The Economic Partnership Agreement and its implications for businesses in Ghana,” and was chaired by Dr Vladimir Antwi Danso, a senior Research Fellow at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD). 

Speakers at the forum were the Chief Executive Officer of the Private Enterprise Federation (PEF), Nana Osei Bonsu, the Cordinator of the Third World Network (TWN), Dr Yao Graham, and the Director for Multilateral Trade at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr Anthony Nyame Baafi.
