Speaking to the GRAPHIC BUSINESS on the sidelines of the launch, the General Manager of Fiesta Residences, Mr Johan de Villiers, said the menu would change every week to give customers a variety.

He said the restaurant had made changes to its menu by introducing a lot of options.

“We are re-launching our business lunch and we have done it with quick service and targeted at business people,” he said.

“The business lunch will be available from Mondays to Thursdays.

The menu will be changing on a weekly basis and we have brought in a new chef to take care of that,” he added.

Customer service

Mr Villiers also pointed out that the restaurant had been training its staff within the last couple of weeks to ensure it delivered quality service to customers.

“We have noticed our shortfalls and taken feedback from our customers to improve our services,” he stated.

“We will continue to take feedback from customers and improve our services on a daily basis,” he said.

He said the company was trying to keep abreast of all the international standards in the restaurant industry.

“We have customers from all over the world frequenting our restaurant so we are training our waiters and waitresses to enable their services to be of international standard,” he explained.

Industry in Ghana

On the restaurant industry in the country, Mr Villiers said the industry was still young although it was aggressively growing.

He said the tourism industry was also still young but expected to grow massively in the coming years.

“Ghana has got a good climate, beaches and the people are willing to work so the country has all it takes to develop the tourism sector,” he noted.
