The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) on November 17, 2018 held the Second Edition of its Chamber Business Awards on the Theme: “Empowering the Private Sector to Move Ghana Beyond Aid.”
The awards, which seeks to celebrate the very best and finest of Ghanaian businesses and personalities who have demonstrated excellence in business practice, was graced by Nana Otuo Siriboe II, the Chairman of the Council of State and Omanhene of the Juaben Traditional Area as the special guest of honour.

Stating that the theme was most appropriate as it sought to mobilise the needed private sector support to achieve the vision of Ghana beyond aid, he said “With all the natural resources that God has endowed Ghana with such as gold, bauxite, diamonds, oil, timber, cocoa, water, fertile land one wonders why after 61 years of independence we cannot extricate ourselves from foreign aid.”
