This is being done by celebrating the birthday and network anniversaries with the customers.
The lucky customers receive a bouquet of gift items ranging from airtime, branded mobile devices, personalized cards to beautifully branded yummy cakes and complementary bottles of choice red wines.
This move by the company is a way of rewarding customers particularly those who are celebrating their birthdays this quarter and those who have been on the network for four years and beyond for their loyalty and dedication to the Airtel network.
This initiative ties into the company’s desire to be part of the milestones and successes of its subscribers
Commenting on the initiative, the Customer Care Director at Airtel, Yacoba Amuah, said that “birthdays and anniversaries are special days in one’s life; At Airtel, we really value and appreciate our customers and that is why we join them in celebrating such milestones”.
In this regard, Mr Samuel Batsa of HFC Bank who has been on the network for the past four years, received his reward from Airtel when the team visited his office.
The Head of Corporate Communications at Airtel Ghana, Mr Donald Gwira, announced that in addition to celebrating with customers’ important milestones, Airtel is also committed to enhancing customer experience as gathered through consumer insights. “We recently upgraded our data subscription platform where customers can now top up their data bundles before the expiration date. Previously, subscribers had to wait for the data bundles to expire before topping up”, he said.
