Vacancy for Director
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaians for the positions of Director in a reputable institution.
A. PURPOSE
To lead a higher level research in commodity trading and build a resilient body of knowledge for the organization.

B. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop systems and procedures for effective execution of the organization’s mandate.
2. Study the global commodity dynamics and advise strategic positions among other functions.
3. Develop strong relationships with partner institutions and agencies.
4. Supervision of staff.
C. COMPETENCIES
i. Technical competencies
1. Must be a person of high integrity and good interpersonal skills.
2. Good knowledge of the various econometrics modeling, feasibility analysis and social studies.
ii. Skills
1. Excellent communication skills: both written and oral.
2. Strong analytical reasoning.
D. QUALIFICATION
Masters degree in Economics/Agriculture Economics/Statistics/Development Economics with a minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant post-qualification work experience in commodities and development ten (10) years of which must be at higher management level.
